I rolled with some friends to a few other locations but didn’t think to take pictures most of the time. But of course, during the Affiliate Ball, there were something like 15 parties all at the same time. I shot these videos with my Motorola Droid X

while it looked like a great free time it also looked like dude fest. How was the ability to network and talk with people ?
Although there is some chance that a baller will get drunk and start spilling secrets, I think the networking is better during the daytime.
I find that at the parties, I generally wind up talking to the people I already know but during the day it seems easier to meet new people.
So many parties, it’s like 2008-2009 all over again!
Did you see that guy take a header on the dance floor around midnight? They took him out in an ambulance!
I found the parties a bit too loud to even talk to people, let alone do serious networking; but free beer is good- no matter how loud it is. ;o)
Best thing I went to was the Purpose Poker Tournament. I didn’t win, but it was a lot of laughs and you could actually talk to people without shouting.
